don't have a cow

Forget the misleading title -- I am not a reasonable, rational person. I am a histrionic cry baby drama queen who most definitely does 'have cows' or whatever when shit starts to get real. I don't genuinely believe in karma but I must have done something seriously messed up within the past several weeks to deserve the INSANE amount of curveballs life has been throwing mercilessly in my direction... but what?? Maybe the universe is trying to whip me into shape, and by forcing me to confront (literally) painful situations I'm learning, developing into an adult, becoming a responsible and discerning woman, etc. ALL THAT GOOD STUFF. 'Growing up' has been oddly concentrated into one year of my life so far, that year being this one, 2014, my good old 21st anniversary on woeful planet Earth.

At the end of the day, after I've cried out every last milliliter of tears, I realize that at least I still have my sense of style. I constantly reference taste as an alternative currency because I firmly believe that it is valuable in ways money isn't. Even if you're flat broke and sifting through bargain bins, it's your vision and ability to artfully arrange that renders you stylish - NOT the amount of money you're privileged enough to spend on frivolity. The tougher life gets, the more passionately I appreciate my tastes because no matter what they cannot be taken away from me

Now. Onto the real cow print elephant in the room - I'm wearing like 4 acrylic nails total in these pics, that's how hardcore my life is. K bye.

back in black

My new favorite staple item is this Romwe bodysuit that exposes my back like a hot commodity... gives me that necessary confidence boost a woman needs when attempting to make waves during a night out. Showing skin is the ultimate silencer... almost more effective than shoving a weapon in someone's face for intimidation purposes. I enjoy using my seductive energy to exert power over people weak enough to value superficial qualities like sex appeal and beauty. It isn't morally justified and definitely NOT an act of feminism. But it is me. My manipulative style. I wear exploitation like a necklace, foo.

leisure luxe

Ugh... sometimes I simply cannot be bothered to wear anything other than sweatpants. But unlike SOME people *camera pans to crowd of teenagers emerging from Starbucks in knockoff Uggs and local university hoodies* my leisure look doesn't compromise luxury. Very important to spruce up a sartorial cop out witj heels and (if you're cool like me) a satin bomber jacket with MAJE embroidery. There's only one other thing this outfit calls for and it's an orange Mustang. Obviously.

heart set on ette

Been growing my bangs out for summer but the transition into middle-part-territory STILL hasn't happened. I've been trying to pull off the overgrown borderline feral fringe look by wearing more earthy prints and silhouettes. This tie-dye kimono from Ette does the trick. I love the way it drapes over a maxi dress and platform boots... reminds me of my beloved 2012 road trip lifestyle.

Check out how me and Jessi styled another Ette look at Taco Bell for The Fabulous Stains! We be thinkin' outside the bun ALWAYS.  Fab Stains x Ette Clothing
